DAY 2: Milngavie to Drymen

Distance 21km • Approximate Walking Time 4-6 hours • Ascent (↑) 300m

In a few minutes of making town of Milngavie when you look at the Glasgow suburbs you're, as if by miracle, in the fabulous Scottish country side. Today’s hike could be the perfect “muscle loosener” with peaceful woodland hikes and mild farmland trails. You have the opportunity to go to the famous Glengoyne whisky distillery – a wee dram will give you plenty of fuel the hikes forward!

DAY 3: Drymen to Rowardennan

24km • 6 - 8 hours • (↑) 650m

The rise toward shoulder of Conic Hill (300m) could be the first real challenge with this climbing tour but the amazing views over Loch Lomond make every step worthwhile. From right here, the trail descends to your lakeshore at Balmaha. Manage along through woodland beside the pond entirely toward tiny settlement of Rowardennan.

DAY 4: Rowardennan to Inverarnan

23km • 7 - 9 hours • (↑) 600m

a challenging hike across the eastern shore of Loch Lomond takes you entirely as much as the northern end for the lake. The path is mainly along peaceful woodland paths. Look out for Rob Roy’s Cave along the way – one of the numerous hiding spots used by Scotland’s most well known outlaw.

DAY 5: Inverarnan to Tyndrum

20km • 5 - 7 hours • (↑) 550m

a gently ascending track leads you within the River Falloch Valley with stunning views of this surrounding hills. After passing the halfway-point of hike near the village of Crianlarich, the trail goes past the ruins of St Fillan’s Priory and to the village of Tyndrum.

DAY 6: Tyndrum to Inveroran

15km • 4 - 5 hours • (↑) 350m

The trail from Tyndrum to Bridge of Orchy uses the railroad line through an attractive glen. From Bridge of Orchy, you leave civilisation behind as you enter one of the more remote chapters of the route. The views from Mam Carraig over Tulla Loch are terrific – just make sure to truly have the electric battery recharged for your camera!

time 7: Inveroran to Kingshouse

16km • 4 - 6 hours • (↑) 330m

Walking across the revealed Rannoch Moor may be the many enjoyable day of your trip or, in the event that climate misbehaves, the essential difficult. Once the sunlight shines, the views regarding the surrounding hills tend to be stunning. With regards to rains, there’s no place to hide. Regardless, the journey is going to be unforgettable!
