While everybody loves having great climate on a good day – for people to Landmark its becoming less of a price breaker for a trip. With more and much more under cover here, there is always some refuge close by to duck into on those persistently rainy times. Light waterproofs tend to be good bet when it comes to baths that might just try to spoil things for a short period.

Our particular geography involving the Monadh Liath hill range together with Cairngorm Mountains to the eastern creates a ‘rain shadow’ effect and results in a somewhat low yearly rainfall for Carrbridge: 813 mm per annum, much like the south of England and a portion of our near neighbour Fort William at 2000mm to 3000 mm per year.
