Hot, bright and dirty are not the usual conditions you keep company with World Cup vacations at Fort William.

The mountains on Aanoch Mor had been definitely gleaming for rehearse on Friday, however for the cyclists the bone-dry nature of this track provided them more of challenging than they desired.

Dust in Scotland?!

The top of this course turned out to be slippery in the dust, with hold dilemmas a standard issue, while there were many punctures from free gravel that littered the track from successive trips down it.

Brits on top

This being their property course, the Brits dominated timed training with five of six fastest times. Just will keep up rate with Danny Hart, , Brendan Fairclough, Marc Beaumont, Bernard Kerr's run-in rehearse. Very nearly inevitably ended up being the fastest woman out on the track.

End of an era

Steve Peat is driving into the Fort William World Cup for extremely last time after announcing their retirement from racing competitively. A legend in the mountain bike community, numerous fans will likely be traveling to Scotland to see Peaty take part in their last Fort William run. To celebrate his Scottish farewell he's got his own club on-site, a custom tartan-painted Santa Cruz V10 with matching kit.

On Thursday, riders gathered to celebrate living of Canadian . The train started near the top of the mountain and did a complete run of this program, whipping and styling along the track, inside their matching #LongLiveChainsaw t-shirts, quantity plates and some even sported Stevie-inspired hair on your face.
