Located in the gorgeous Balhousie Castle, the Black Watch Castle & Museum is dedicated to Scotland’s most elite military regiment. Fascinating displays give an explanation for long history of the battalion and its own invest British history, while interactive displays and enjoyable tasks keep the children amused.
My small children love popping in on a regular basis which is therefore family friendly. The foodstuff is great! The staff are brilliant! – KJ1982

Scone Palace is steeped ever sold, being the crowning place of leaders eg Robert the Bruce and Charles II. The encompassing reasons and woodland tend to be among the most beautiful in Perthshire, with a lovely star-shaped maze and outstanding adventure play ground for kids.

Comfortable and fashionable, the Perth Concert Hall offers an ideal choice of social activities. If you be surrounding this few days, Perth Festival regarding the Arts opens these days with an excellent 11-day programme of music, drama and party. Upcoming programs consist of smash hit musical Fame (11-16 Aug), comedian Ross Noble (4 Oct) and Ivor Novello winner Joan Armatrading (20 Oct).
Perth is indeed happy to truly have the Concert Hall. It’s a superb facility, with an excellent programme of entertainment. – Mordrydd

Robert Burns Birthplace Museum

Ayr

Ayrshire is Burns nation, and there’s no much better location to read about the Bard, their life and work than in the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum in Alloway. Site visitors can admire original works plus the poet’s private belongings before you take a pleasing walk around the nearby Burns Monument Gardens.
This is an outstanding location to see. The Museum itself is great so interesting. I experienced no idea exactly how much Robert Burns features influenced around the world. – hortonkirkbyboy

The gorgeous Rozelle Park comprises 37 hectares of immaculate yards and verdant woodland, peppered with decorative ponds, colourful flowerbeds and interesting sculptures. The estate hosts two galleries, therefore the café is a huge hit with visitors – the desserts come recommended. Lovely spot, great little tea-room, plenty of room for children to play so we enjoyed feeding the ducks – lorraine b

Little children (and perhaps some big ones too) will love Ayr Seafront Playpark by Ayr seashore, where swings, slides and huge climbing frames supply hours of fun. Just next door is Pirate Pete’s Family Entertainment Centre, offering an enormous smooth play area, little golf and an American diner serving up tasty do-it-yourself hamburgers.
This can be among the best children parks that I have been in. Plenty in order for them to do. My child didn’t understand the place to start! – riclie

Train lovers, Harry Potter fans and anyone with an understanding for remarkable views will like the memorable train journey over the, which crosses the iconic Glenfinnan Viaduct and provides remarkable views for the tiny Isles of Rùm, Eigg, Muck and Canna.

Enjoy dazzling views and high-adrenaline activities at Nevis Range Mountain Enjoy, based simply 7 kilometers north of Fort William. Take the hill gondola to marvel at sweeping Highland panoramas, or challenge you to ultimately high wire activities, hill cycling or paragliding, plus skiing and snowboarding in winter.
